Dr Matthew Beadman, DClinPsy
Consultant Clinical Psychologist

In terms of clinical services, Matthew has developed and led clinical psychology services in chronic pain, cardiac, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and intensive care services. He has co-authored book chapters, national reports and guidelines advising on the psychological management of hospitalised patients.

Regarding work with organisations and teams, Matthew led a NHS Trust’s psychological care of patients, families and NHS staff through the COVID-19 pandemic and both developed and led specialist services designed to optimise team functioning through the pandemic. Outside of healthcare he has worked in a senior role in a City of London Psychological Consultancy. He provides organisational interventions and psychological skills training programmes to FTSE 100 organisations and other NHS Trusts to improve health, performance and staff experience at work.
